About Course

You will leave able to set up an employer properly — PAYE reference, HMRC connection, pay schedules — and add employees with the right tax code and NI category from the start, so the first payslip is correct rather than corrected later. You will build pay items, run a live pay run, and read the payslip line by line until every figure makes sense.

RTI is taught here, not deferred. You will know what an FPS is, when it has to go, how an EPS differs, and where the payroll lands in your accounts once the run closes. You will also learn to tell which QuickBooks payroll tier you are working in, which saves a lot of confusion when a feature simply is not there.

Three live hours in a demo company, capped at five learners, splittable across two evenings. Practical assessment, knowledge check, manual and a certificate structured to support a CPD-hours claim.
